F-111c Pig

The F-111c Pig is a medium-range Interdictor and tactical aircraft. Based on the American F-111A with Australian request for longer wings and strengthened Undercarriage. Orders were placed initially in 1963 but weren't delivered till 1973 due to its advanced Avionics and wing structure development.
 
Although the aircraft never saw Combat, it was proven a more than capable strike aircraft but was held back from action due to maintenance costs. Retiring in 2010, the aircraft was replaced in role with F/A-18 Super Hornets and Growlers
