CAC A68 Mustang

The CAC P-51D Mustang entered service with the RAAF in 1944, Italy. Needing a new fighter in the Pacific, the Kittyhawk was replaced with license-built mustangs in Australia by CAC. by the end of the war, the Kittyhawks and spitfires in service were withdrawn and replaced with mustangs. ended up seeing conflict in the Korean war.
