HMAS Arunta (I)

The HMAS Arunta (I) is a Tribal-class destroyer that was commissioned into the Royal Australian Navy in 1942 during World War II. It was primarily used for escorting convoys and attacking enemy ships and submarines. The ship served in the Pacific and Indian Oceans and was involved in several significant battles. The HMAS Arunta (I) was finally decommissioned in 1957 after a long and successful career.
